I am awesome. Truly. So truly awesome, I’m going to do the how to in photo form. Most of these were taken by Weasel, and turns out she kind of sucks at it.
Lay out the wood for the base frame. Mine is bits I found in the shed.
That's as far in as I could the screw. Stripped the screwdriver drill bit doing that.
Hold the wood still. Using a vice I don't have, and cut using a better saw I don't have.

I suck at this. Tried to cut a 45degree angle a few times. Also, can anyone say frumpy?
Trying to force screws into crooked bits of wood did this. That and my cheap ass drill.
Two days later: Fuck this building one myself nonsense.
Maybe if my tools weren’t from the reject shop. Maybe if I paid attention to what kind of screws I got, instead of just ‘long ones’. Maybe I just shouldn’t try to build stuff anymore. At Christmas my Dad criticized my wonky bbq shelves, my bed wobbles, couldn’t build a plastic car, and I can’t even join two pieces of wood.
Even in year 8 tech class I got the boys to do my work for me. Over 20 years later and I constantly remind myself why.

I shouldnt laugh, i’m sorry. But it was nice to see that i’m not the only one who has a great idea and then stuffs it up. Tomorrow im making a tulle fairy tutu. I’ll post pics of how badly i went lol.
Keep trying though! and maybe a heavier drill?
